The Ministry of Health has conducted a review, releasing a report around the current regulation of cosmetic procedures. The report makes a series of recommendations to ensure the safety of patients and clients and to improve the regulatory evironment. 

At present there is a range of regulations affecting persons and premises carrying out cosmetic procedures. The Ministry will begin implementing recommedations and continue to monitor issues as it views the regulation of cosmetic procedures a continuing area of concern.
