Council member vacancies
There are currently no member vacancies for the Nursing and Midwifery Council of NSW.
Council Members are appointed by the Governor of NSW for a term of up to three years on the recommendation of the Minister for Health. Members must be able to demonstrate integrity, impartiality, open-mindedness, sound judgment, knowledge of the rules of procedural fairness and natural justice, and have an appreciation of the need for quality and consistency in decision-making. In addition, members should have the ability to apply legislation and demonstrate effective and proactive teamwork.
Applicants will be selected on merit and provide an appropriate range of knowledge, skills and diversity within the Council. Expressions of interest should include the following information and be submitted by email to firstname.lastname@example.org :
- A brief expression of interest addressing the selection criteria
- An up to date curriculum vitae outlining experience and qualifications
- A completed Expression of Interest form
- The names and contact details of two referees.
